The successful execution of complex electrical conduit installations on any large-scale project begins long before the first pipe is bent. It requires a meticulous process that bridges the gap between digital coordination and field implementation, ensuring every run is precise and clash-free. This process demands a precision layout to prevent interference with other critical disciplines. Mechanical, plumbing, and structural systems all compete for limited ceiling space, making coordination essential. We carefully design and detail every hanger support using Autodesk Revit, which allows for a true-to-life 3D representation of the entire installation. To guarantee conflict-free routing, this Revit model is subjected to rigorous clash detection via Navisworks. This software acts as a pre-construction simulator, identifying any potential physical interferences between the proposed electrical conduits and the other trades’ models. This allows us to resolve all conflicts in the virtual environment, long before material is ordered. The coordinated plan is then implemented on site with unwavering accuracy using Trimble Field Points software and total stations. This powerful combination exports the precise, coordinated coordinates directly from the model to the site, ensuring that every hanger insert and sleeve is placed exactly where the digital design intended.
