The Amiya Clubhouse forms a central amenity within the Amiya Project, a high-end residential development located in Puan, Davao City, Philippines. Designed as a recreational and social hub for the subdivision, the clubhouse architecture blends contemporary tropical design with resort-inspired spatial planning. Its low horizontal profile, wide roof overhangs, and generous glazing respond to the surrounding landscape while promoting natural ventilation and visual openness.
The architectural composition emphasizes relaxation and leisure through its relationship with water and greenery. Expansive pools, landscaped gardens, and palm-lined walkways frame the clubhouse, reinforcing the atmosphere of a private resort within the residential community. Large glass openings allow interior spaces to visually extend toward outdoor terraces and pool areas, creating fluid transitions between indoor amenities and outdoor recreational zones.
Material selections reinforce the tropical character of the project. Warm timber finishes, natural stone textures, and neutral-toned plastered surfaces complement the lush surroundings, while the layered roof forms provide both architectural identity and passive shading. The clubhouse’s design balances elegance with comfort, ensuring that communal spaces remain welcoming while maintaining a refined residential aesthetic.
Architectural visualization played a significant role in presenting the development to potential homeowners and investors. Eye-level perspectives highlight the spatial experience of the clubhouse amenities, while aerial views communicate the broader landscape planning of the project. Detailed renderings were produced using 3DS Max and the V-Ray render engine to achieve realistic lighting, reflections, and material depth. Lumion was utilized for large-scale aerial visualizations to efficiently handle the extensive site model and surrounding environment.
Through these visualizations, the Amiya Clubhouse was effectively communicated as the lifestyle centerpiece of the subdivision — a space where architecture, landscape, and leisure converge to define the identity of the community.
