The Kisan Lu Model House is a residential visualization project developed for Kisan Lu Lands Realty in Davao City. Designed as a model residence for a residential development, the project explores the spatial organization and architectural character of a contemporary tropical home intended to showcase the lifestyle and living environment envisioned for the community.
The architectural concept combines clean modern forms with warm natural materials. Large glazed openings introduce natural light into the living spaces while establishing strong visual connections with the surrounding outdoor environment. Stone cladding accentuates vertical architectural elements, providing contrast against smooth plaster walls and reinforcing the home’s contemporary tropical identity.
Interior spaces are organized to maximize openness and comfort. The living and dining areas follow an open plan configuration that allows seamless circulation between spaces, while integrated cabinetry and wood finishes create a warm and cohesive interior atmosphere. Bedrooms and private areas are designed to balance functionality and comfort, forming a welcoming environment suited for everyday residential living.
The visualization process began with the preparation of architectural layouts in AutoCAD to establish accurate spatial planning. These drawings were then translated into three dimensional models in SketchUp, allowing the development of the building form and interior configuration. Final rendering and visual refinement were completed using 3DS Max, where lighting, textures, and materials were carefully adjusted to produce photorealistic images that communicate the project’s architectural character and residential atmosphere.
