The Butiong Residence is a contemporary residential project located in Matina, Davao City. The design emphasizes clean geometric volumes, expansive glazing, and warm material accents that balance modern architectural expression with residential comfort. A prominent glass façade on the second floor allows natural daylight to enter the bedrooms, creating bright interior spaces while visually connecting the home with its surrounding environment.

The structure incorporates steel members and concrete block construction, finished with painted concrete surfaces and aluminum components. Aluminum cladding and polyvinyl chloride wood panels introduce texture and warmth, particularly along the soffits and ceiling elements. These wood-finished panels serve both functional and aesthetic roles, enhancing the architectural composition while providing visual continuity between exterior and interior spaces.

The project was delivered as a full architectural service that included design development, preparation of technical drawings, material specifications, cost estimates, and on-site construction supervision. Technical documentation was prepared using AutoCAD, while design presentations and visualizations were developed using 3DS Max and the V-Ray rendering engine to communicate the architectural concept during the design phase. Quantity take-offs and construction estimates were completed using PlanSwift and Excel to support the construction process.

The result is a modern residential project that integrates thoughtful architectural design, structural clarity, and careful construction supervision to achieve a refined and functional living environment.
